A Methodology toward Artistic Unity for Actors & Directors with Richard Michelle Pentelbury

A workshop for novice as well as experienced directors and actors, an introduction to a variety of tools to open communication lines between actors and directors, so that we can work together most efficiently & without misunderstandings. Ever heard of the use of Semiotics on Stage, The Classical Mountain Methodology, The Actor’s Alphabet, or the Spiral Dynamic Approach to directing and acting? Here’s your chance to build your directing & acting vocabulary!
Richard Michelle-Pentelbury is a multiple award winning and renown actor and director, who was part of Calgary’s theatre scene from 1981 through 2011. Some of his memorable roles include Morrie in Tuesday’s with Morrie; Professor Frank in Educating Rita; and Emile in South Pacific. Richard has also directed many shows for Morpheus Theatre, Front Row Centre Players, and Bonavista Players among others.
Richard will be returning to Calgary after six years to remount Harvey for Morpheus and delivers this one-off workshop of sage advice. Not to be missed!
